FAST Math Practice for Florida Teachers
Printable math practice organised around Florida's progress monitoring model, so the work students do between windows targets the benchmarks the next check is going to surface.
Why Florida is different
Florida does not assess mathematics with a single spring test. FAST is a progress monitoring system given across multiple windows during the year, which changes what useful practice looks like. Because an early window arrives before much of the year has been taught, students meet benchmarks they have not covered yet, and scores can look alarming for reasons that have nothing to do with learning. Practice that follows the same rhythm — short, frequent, and cumulative rather than one unit at a time — matches the model far better than a single end-of-year review packet.

What this course covers in Florida
Why cumulative practice beats unit review
An adaptive, repeated-window model rewards retention across the whole year, not recall of the most recent unit. Practice sets that mix a current topic with two or three earlier ones track that far more honestly than a test covering only the chapter just finished.
Reading an early-window score correctly
The first window lands before much of the grade-level content has been taught. Treat it as a baseline of what carried over from last year, not a verdict on this year's teaching, and compare growth between windows rather than raw scores.
Adaptive testing changes what struggle looks like
In an adaptive test a student who is doing well will still meet items they cannot answer, because the test keeps moving up until it finds a limit. Students benefit from being told that in advance, and from practice that occasionally includes deliberately harder items.
Targeting between windows
The most useful action after a window is narrowing to the two or three weakest benchmarks and giving short, repeated practice on those, rather than reteaching everything. Short printable sets with worked keys are well suited to that.

1. 72%
18 / 25 = 0.72, which is 72%.
2. 3/5, 0.65, 0.7
3/5 = 0.6, so the order is 0.6, 0.65, 0.7.
3. $126
Paying 70% of the price: 180 x 0.70 = 126.
4. Width 9 cm, length 18 cm
2(w + 2w) = 54, so 6w = 54 and w = 9, giving length 18.
