Definition

Volume measures the amount of space inside a three-dimensional object. It is measured in cubic units (cm³, m³, in³, ft³). Volume tells you how much a container can hold.

💡Example

Rectangular prism: V = length × width × height. A box 4cm × 3cm × 2cm has volume = 24 cm³. Cylinder: V = πr²h. Sphere: V = (4/3)πr³.
