Definition
The median is the middle value when numbers are arranged in order. If there's an even count of numbers, the median is the average of the two middle values.
💡Example
For 3, 7, 9, 12, 15: The median is 9 (middle value). For 2, 4, 6, 8: The median is (4 + 6) ÷ 2 = 5 (average of two middle numbers).
