Definition
A fraction represents a part of a whole or a division of quantities. It consists of a numerator (top number) and a denominator (bottom number) separated by a line.
💡Example
In 3/4, you have 3 parts out of 4 equal parts. If a pizza is cut into 8 slices and you eat 3, you ate 3/8 of the pizza.
